A word from the editor:
I developed a bad habit of noncommittally telling my team that we should hold our meetings in the morning for books about morning. For this book, however, we actually did have all our meetings in the morning!
I'm not really a morning person myself. In fact, if I slacken even a little bit, I'm likely to oversleep and show up late for work. Even so, I used the apprehension I felt about having important morning meetings with the author as my motivation. Halfway through, I resolved to force myself to have early morning meetings.
So, there I was at the first morning meeting, nervous as can be. The meeting was to start at 6:30. Was there a meaningful exchange of ideas? Well, that episode has actually been anonymously covered in this book. If you would like to find out about it, look for it in the book. I hope that this book will play a big role in making you realize what mornings have to offer.
