A word from the editor: |
I studied under Mr. Eto when I was a student at the Japan Mental Health Association. At first, I didn't really have any particular plans for a book and simply took the class for my own benefit. However, I was swept off my feet by Mr. Eto's character and his clear and interesting manner of speaking. Before I knew it, I came to regard Mr. Eto not just as a lecturer but as an author as well. He agree to write this book after a seven-year hiatus. As explained by the title, the purpose of the book, when read with calmness of mind, is to make this a day of reflection. Without a doubt, you will discover a side of yourself that you didn't know existed.

About the author:Nobuyuki Eto |
|
Nobuyuki Eto is a counseling psychologist and head of the Japan Mental Health Association.
To replace the theoretical psychology commonly used in Japan, he developed a practical program to benefit people in their everyday lives.
His casual way of speaking shatters the perceptions that people have of counseling psychologists, and he has the stage presence of an actor. He has the largest number of clients among counseling psychologists, while also teaching mental techniques that can be used for self-improvement.
The psychology courses he provides throughout the country have long waiting lists, and many of those who complete the courses go on to be conscientious pioneers in their various fields. Nobuyuki Eto is also known as a conveyor of Native American wisdom, which he acquired while living with Native Americans.
He has a long list of books that include: Daybreak in the Age of the Spirit: A Genuine Search for Wisdom (PHP Interface), Psychology for Bosses: Capture the Hearts of Your Subordinates, Increase Ability (Diamond), Open the Drawer of Happiness: Aesthetic Care for the Soul (Goma Books), Ask the Eagle: Native American Life Philosophy (Asukashinsha), Workplace Psychology through Manga: Boss-Subordinate Relationships, and Workplace Psychology through Manga: Reviving the Company Organization (Jitsugyo no Nihonsha)
