Born in Hokkaido in 1973, Un worked as a graphic designer before joining an advertising agency in Sapporo, where he was a creative planner. In 2004, as a result of serotonin deficiency, he suffered from memory loss, which led to an unexpected spiritual experience. It was from this experience that he started a popular blog on the Internet called "Answers from the Other World." He published his first book in 2010, and he is now based in Tokyo, where he keeps a blog and writes. He also gives talks around Japan, sharing humorous philosophies of life. Among his main works are Answers from the Other World (Sunmark) and Paradise Restaurant(Shougakukan).
