Direct from Tony Robbins!
Methods anyone can use to achieve their goals
“I want to achieve my goals!” This book was written for everyone who wants to fulfill that wish. There are some people who always seem to have a strong will and to be committed to their goals. Have you ever thought, “That person can do it because she’s special”? The truth is, that’s not the case. People who can always achieve their goals simply use what’s called “Future Memories” and have mastered the balancing of their emotions.
Studying a language, passing an exam, dieting, or everyday work-despite setting goals, the tasks become bothersome and get put off, and in the end your goals aren’t achieved. If you have ever had such an experience, this book is for you. The author has studied the teachings of Anthony Robbins-directly from Robbins himself-and has even received a certificate of appreciation from him. Now, by mastering the author’s method of Future Memories, the future you wish for is virtually already in your hands. Then, when you too can achieve any goal you set your mind to, people around you will say, “He can do that because he’s special.”

Afterword: Leading a fulfilling life by increasing your Future Memories
I’m pleased to say that with the help of the Future Memories Method, I entered my very first triathlon and achieved my goal of finishing the race. This is despite the fact I used to hate exercise and had worse grades in school than even a friend who was forced to miss every P.E. class because of a broken bone. There’s only one trick to it, and that’s to imagine the future by asking yourself, “If I do this thing I need to do now (running, for instance), what kind of future is waiting for me?” In my case, running meant I could diet, which in turn meant I would lose weight. Losing weight would make it possible for me to complete a triathlon, something I couldn’t do before. This would build my confidence, leading to positive changes in my lifestyle, and in turn, to achieving success at work. By thinking of this chain of events, I realized that to achieve success at work I had to begin running! This is just one example, but by creating Future Memories you can take action immediately and begin to achieve your goals just as I did. The ability to do things with a feeling of excitement, with the tangible results of achieving your goals-why would anyone not want to learn how?
